An 85-year-old man died after he stumbled and fell while walking through the snowstorm in Queens Thursday afternoon, police said.

The victim, whose name was not immediately released, lost his balance in a parking lot behind a building on Beach 19th St. in Far Rockaway about 2:15 p.m., officials said. He slipped during the city’s first major snowstorm of the year.

He died a short time later at St. John’s Hospital, officials said.
